ACTRA and the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) have reached a tentative agreement to renew the National Commercial Agreement (NCA) for one year. This extension, which follows the current agreement set to expire on May 31, 2025, will remain in effect through to May 31, 2026, pending a successful ratification vote. The NCA vote opens Tuesday, May 13 at noon ET and closes Tuesday, May 27 at noon ET. Voting instructions will be emailed to members eligible to vote. While this is great news, the fight continues to end to unjust three-year long lockout with the Institute of Canadian Agencies (ICA).
